Tactical analysis
Each module reads the event and phase layer and returns the moment, the players involved, and how often it recurs. We add modules to match how your club actually analyses.
You are committed in their final third when they win it back. Two of their players stayed upfield against one of yours, and the space behind is measured before the ball is even played into it.
Auto tagging
Every moment Alai detects arrives in your tagging timeline while the match is still running, already carrying the context that matters. Your analysts stop pressing keys and start reading the game.
Match timeline
Events & phases
Conventional event data is typed by people watching a video feed. Alai reads the tracking data itself: all 22 players, the whole pitch, the whole match. Events and phases come back within five seconds, defined the way your club defines them, and land in your tagging timeline carrying context nobody could add by hand mid-match.

Preparation, live decision support and evaluation in one system, connected to the tracking data you already pay for.
Every module runs frame by frame during the match and pushes the moments that matter to the bench while there is still time to act on them.
Corners classified by swing and arrival zone, with attacking runs, defensive roles, man-versus-zone marking and first contact recognised automatically, plus corner xG.
A pressing-intensity model quantifies the pressure each player applies, the outcome of every sequence, and the space your press opens up behind it.
The Insights Hub asks the same questions across many matches: which patterns recur, in which phase of play, and how the opponent has been broken down before.
Live tags in the timeline your analysts already use, key-moment clips made for you, and printable match reports.
Build-up, create, attacking play and both transitions, plus high, mid and low block. Every event is joined to the phase it happened in.
By the numbers
From the analysts
“Thanks to Alai's live capabilities, we can recognize tendencies directly in the game and actively adjust our tactics and coaching. During a recent Superliga game, we identified an unmarked striker through the analysis and adjusted our strategy accordingly — this data-driven approach helps us make more correct decisions in real-time.”

Fynn-Cedric Bach
Analyst, AaB
“During a match, the workflow can be incredibly hectic and sending even 2-3 comments down to the bench can make a crucial difference. Being able to tell them what's happening in real-time using Alai's platform has been really important while playing matches. We act on the information that Alai gives us, and we turn that information into action on the field.”

Nikolaj Meier
Analyst, Randers FC
“The project with Alai has been productive and the edge they bring to the market is super interesting. We used it to advance the current live analysis of Superliga games.”

FAQ
The practical questions analysis departments ask first.
A tracking data feed for your matches, and someone on the analysis side to point us at it. There is no hardware to install, no cameras to fit and nothing to change about how your matches are recorded.
Usually under a day once the data connection is agreed. Most clubs are running on their next fixture, with onboarding and analyst training completed across a couple of sessions after that.
For your staff, very little. Alai runs alongside the workflow you already have, and the output appears in the platform and in your tagging timeline. Nobody has to operate it during the game.
An analyst to tell us how your club defines things and to receive the training. Nothing else is required. If you want to build on the API your own developers can, but that is optional rather than a prerequisite.
That is the intention. Definitions, naming and phases are configured to match your club rather than a fixed standard, so what comes out lines up with the language your staff already use.
Everything is processed in GDPR-compliant cloud infrastructure with access limited to your organisation. Your data stays yours, and we are happy to go through the details with your IT or legal team.
Dedicated onboarding, training for the analysts who will use it, and ongoing support through the season. If something is not working on a match day, you can reach us.
